Well, let’s start by answering all of you who are saying, “Chevrolet never made a 1927 ute”. This is quite true, and this ute started its life as a 2-door sedan. Over the course of time, some old farmer made it into a ute to extend its working life.

Around 2016, my employer Peter Goldspring, came across this old Chev in Devonport, Tasmania. Thinking that it looked pretty cool, and after agreeing on a price, the Chevrolet was transported to Hinton, NSW. In 2017, Peter decided to clean it up for use as a promotional tool for the Victoria Hotel in Hinton, and it was brought into the workshop.
